When others say "dress down," we have the courage to say "dress up."

Fridays have long been celebrated as the last day of the week with the privilege of dressing down. With our entrepreneurial spirit, Barnum Design celebrates the last Friday of the month a bit differently.   Formal Fridays take place once per month, on the last Friday of the month. Three-piece suits, prom gowns, white tuxedos, and bowties are encouraged.

Rachel has dressed up as the infamous leg lap from the classic holiday film, A Christmas Story. She lights up !! She has sewn a string of battery powered, LED lights into a black tank top in order to complete the ensemble. And yes, a battery pack is strapped to her back. Rachel's diligent attention to detail and her commitment to costumes is reflected in her work here at the studio ;) It's just her nature !!

DKW Baby Bells

One of our favorite clients, David Kirsch, wellness expert, fitness trainer to the stars, and sole proprietor of David Kirsch Wellness Co. recently took a new role as father of two beautiful, baby twin girls. And we were so excited that we just couldn't resist finding the perfect way to introduce the girls into the DKW world. We started bouncing some ideas around the studio, and there you have it ... Baby Bells !!

Oh yes !! Rachel, our quirkiest team member, has a great affection for oversized, homemade costumes and cupcakes. The above photo displays her latest Halloween costume. She was telling the rest of the team about her Halloween, grocery-store adventures as a giant purple starfish and we just had to see it for ourselves.

Pipe Cleaner "Costumes"

So Halloween was just the other week and we had a few minutes to spare on Friday. Well Jen got a little creative and costume hungry. She took a few minutes and made us pipe cleaner costumes. Jen was a bunny, Greg a piggy, David a beaver and myself a rooster. A couple of images above.

For those who do not know, David Barnum is a fourth degree black belt. So he has a pretty mean flying, ninja, high kick! During a photo shoot a couple of years back, an opportunity presented itself and David just couldn't refuse. See image above. Having photographic assets of oneself on the internal server here at Barnum Design can be dangerous ;)
