
Latex InternationalOver the course of 15 years and four different CEO's, we have helped this innovative, American manufacturer define the strategies and tactics that have established them as the world leader in their category. At the beginning of our relationship, Latex International's annual gross sales were less than 10 million. Today the company sales volume is in excess of 120 million and they have established their own successful direct to consumer product line.The real test of our relationship came in 2001 when a devastating fire completely destroyed the company's primary factory in Ansonia, CT. With a massive loss of revenue, we immediately released the company from their contracts with us to help them reduce expenses as they managed this crisis. Rather than simply cashing in the insurance check, the owners of the company made the hard choice to rebuild. During the rebuilding process, Barnum Design helped the company preserve vital relationships with their customers, distributors and suppliers through trade advertising, industry events, retail support programs and web site. These communication efforts kept all stake holders informed and up to date and built demand for the innovative products that the new factory would be capable of producing. Today we are focused on helping the company expand their direct to consumer sales, supporting an innovative retail strategy with packaging and developing branding standards for new, global marketing initiatives. |
