Hughes is a satellite and terrestrial communications network provider to the military, governments, retail enterprise, SMB's and consumers. Over the years, their brand identity and web presence had been neglected. We did a top to bottom brand refresh with the corporate website as the centerpiece.
A modern, responsive site with am improved, intuitive information architecture was created to serve the needs of their widely disparate business units.
The site design provided the user the opportunity to both discover the breadth of Hughes offerings as well as the ability to quickly navigate to highly specific information and technical support content.
A typical discovery path content page featuring large images and short statements. This UX approach funneled new users - and potential new customers - to specific sector offerings without overwhelming them with too much information too early in their journey.
The simplified global site navigation allows for maximum flexibility and easy maintenance while being easier to use than the prior sites massive drop-down menu items.
