We’re looking for a hard worker that appreciates the unique challenges that must be solved. From the minutia of production work to high-level conceptualization of brand positioning. As a small shop, everyone on staff does it all. We all get our hands dirty.
The Technical:
• 1.5+ years experience (agency preferred)
• B.A. or B.F.A in Design or related field
• Adobe CS+ experience required.
• Working knowledge & experience with print design & production.
• Understanding & basic working knowledge of front-end web development is necessary. Although this position does not require the execution. Basically, if you design for it, you must know it.
• Macromedia Flash & AS2/3 is a plus but not necessary.
• Demonstrate expertise and passion in typography, layout, and color
• Demonstrated ability of hierarchical, dynamic page design and layout is required.
• Fully realize the importance of solid information architecture.
The Mental:
• Must have excellent problem solving skills and love challenges.
• Must be self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
• Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient.
• Function independently and be able to work as a member of the team.
• Strong communication skills (both in person & in writing) while interacting with individuals with a range of technical understanding.
• Work with web developer(s) on site design implementation.
